About PromptDirector

PromptDirector began with a simple thought: I wanted to make an AI video.

When I started, I realized I didn’t have a useful set of creative assets. References, visual development, and prompting methods that models could interpret consistently—all of it had to be built up, piece by piece.

So I thought: why not make a browser extension to collect them? Whenever I came across a good example, I could save it with one click. As development continued, more features grew out of that idea, eventually becoming the tool you see today.

I’ve put a lot of time and care into this extension. I hope you enjoy it, and that it helps you turn a creative idea into something real.

The PromptDirector extension will always be free, with continued open-source updates.
